ABOUT US
The ACLP is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that was started by a group of
volunteers who realized that communities with strong arts and cultural values have
strong economic and educational advantages. Since its inception, the ACLP has
been a catalyst for artistic development in our area. Our organization ensures a rich,
multi-faceted heritage for present and future generations.

The "October Gold Visual Art Exhibit" is being presented this month by the Arts Council
of Livingston Parish located at 133 Hummell Street in Denham Springs. The gallery is
open from 8:30 until 4:30 Monday through Friday. The council is honoring the invited
artists whose work has been juried for this show. Some exhibited pieces will only be
offered for auction at the ACLP fall fundraiser in November, while other pieces are for
sale in the gallery. Please join us for a reception open to the public on Friday evening,
October 22 from 6:00pm until 8:00 pm. For more information please contact the ACLP

MISSION STATEMENT
Our Mission is to promote the diverse artistic and cultural
resources of Livingston Parish. We support established and
emerging artistic endeavors and stimulate public support for the
arts.
