Shelly Frederick studied Art History at LSU and is a Certified One
Stroke Decorative Painting Instructor and self taught mixed media
artist.
Inspired by vintage found objects she loves working with paper,
fabrics and metal. She enjoys finding new ways to use old and new
things in her art.
Shelly has designed a series of Vintage Junkie Workshops to share her
passion of blending modern function with vintage style. She has been
teaching for 8 years.

The Arts Council of Livingston Parish is hosting a Vintage Junkie
Workshop designed by artist Shelly Frederick
Inspired by the book Eat Pray Love, you will use vintage photographs, old
buttons, baubles and glitter to capture your thoughts and dreams of life’s
journey in this unique one-of-a-kind mini journal. Registration required as
space is limited.
